The rock paintings at Kombangulu. About 10 kilometers from town towards Dodoma on the Dodoma Road. To visit, take a 'Kilolo' bound dala dala from Posta asking for "Bwawani Campsite". The ride should take around 15 minutes and cost the standard town fare of TSH300. Bwawani campsite is about 500 metres off the main road (look out of the sign which will point you in the right direction). At the campsite, you can ask the camp owner Freddy for directions to the rock paintings, which are about 20 minutes walk away on a relatively easy path. The paintings are a nice complement to the Isimila stoneage site and provide testament to the long habitation of the Iringa area.
