There are plenty of stories of bad mothers, but none quite like this. In a tale that would make Maury Povich blush, the Toneelgroep Amsterdam brings August Strindberg’s The Pelican (De Pelikaan) to life on Amsterdam’s Stadsschouwburg stage.
