The Painter’s Palette is one of Galway’s most exciting art spaces located in the heart of Moycullen village. It is a happy mix of artist’s salon café, working art studio, art gallery and framing studio.As an artist and a writer, Lynda Cookson opened the gallery as her personal window to the world. It quickly grew, and now offers exhibitions by guest artists, art lessons, demonstrations and framing services.Explore the inspiring collections and exhibitions in the gallery, stock up on your art supplies and find novelty gifts in the shop, or enjoy a coffee and delicious cake in the Artist’s Salon.There is always a tub of crayons and a pile of pages for the children to colour in, with a still life composition set up for those who wish to pick up a brush or pencil and try their hand at sketching and painting.There are art classes for all ages and stages, including painting, papermaking, papier-mâché sculpture and glass painting.
