This destination is quite the opposite of Ciutat Vella. The seven building complex represents Valencia's most modern achievement in architecture. The theme here is futuristic and matches the interior and exterior facades. The first building that was inaugurated was the L'Hemisferic then the El Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia. There are several others like the Oceanographica, Museo de las ciencias, and Entre Dinosaurios. You should at least reserve a few days to complete the tour. Here you will find gardens, IMAX cinema and planetarium, ocean exhibits, science museum, and opera house and marine park, all housed in extraordinary sculptural spaces. Fine arts paintings are also displayed here. The aquarium holds more than 45,000 species.
