The Chinese Assembly Halls

There are a total of five Chinese assembly halls in Tran Phu Street: Fujian, Chaozhou, Hainan, Cantonese, and Chinese. The typical assembly hall is built with a grand gate, a garden full of ornamental plants, a main hall, and an altar room. The interior is filled with statues, murals, and lacquered boards. The place is used for socializing whenever the Chinese migrated or did business in the city.
