Wonderful Victorian palm house with original bevelled glass - the first in the UK, this glass house goes back to the days of the plant hunters, reflected by its contents and that of the nearby Tropical Ravine. This Palm House still has its original Victorian heating system: water pipes running through the ground. Green plants on the right, flowering plants on the left as you walk in. Palm trees, foreign plants and coffee in the centre. Closed for lunch 1-2pm.
