One of the coolest venues in the city, the Apothecary bar takes visitors back to Victorian times, furnished with antique mahogany to resemble an original city apothecary shop. On Fridays, Electric Soup delivers a blend of electro and techno whilst Saturdays mixes soul with tech-house. Sip on cocktails, swig beer, or savor a fine wine or champagne tipple and watch cowboy-costumed guys and gals strut their stuff. Situated near an industrial estate, the Apothecary bar is isolated from ordinary nightlife, but buses and a free shuttle service makes traveling simple.
