TCU Horned Frogs
About
The TCU Horned Frogs [36], the sports teams representing Texas Christian University, have successfully branded themselves in recent years as "Fort Worth's team". The Frogs are best known for their football program, a rising national power in the first part of this century. TCU is in its final season as a member of the Mountain West Conference; in July 2012, the Frogs will move to the Big 12 Conference. Most of TCU's athletic venues are on campus, with the best-known being Amon G. Carter Stadium (football) and Daniel–Meyer Coliseum (basketball).
