Tathra oysters are grown in the pristine waters of Nelsons Lake in Mimosa Rocks National Park. This family business has won numerous awards for their oysters including the inaugural President's Medal, the highest accolade of the NSW Royal Agricultural Society. Again in 2012 Tathra Oysters was a finalist in the President's Medal. Also in 2012 Tathra Oysters were awarded the Best Product From The Sea by ABC delicious Produce Awards, and were selected as a Finalist in 2013. This award encompasses all seafood, wild caught or farmed, in Australia. Visitors are encouraged to call into the Tathra Oysters' shop where they can select from opened and unopened oysters.
