Visitors who enjoy hiking will want to check out these south/north trail heads by finding the entrances to them in Tahoe City, California. Along the south shore is Big Meadow, and Frog and Winnemucca Lakes trail heads, where Big Meadow is off of SR 898 miles south of Meyers. Frog and Winnemucca Lakes are found at SR 88 south of Carson Pass.
