Located in the food court at Prestige Plaza, The Swahili Plate brings the Coastal cusine to that side of Nairobi, for those willing to pay for it. While the decor is nothing to write about because it is located in a food court, the food gets rave reviews. I won't lie to you; if you went down to the Coast and ordered the same kind of food that you get here, it will be way cheaper. But they do not skimp out on the preparation, or the flavours. From snacks like kaimatis,viazi vya karai, mkate wa sinia to the main meals like pilau and biriani, this place will leave you smacking your lips in pure delight.
