Located in the ancient town of Ossian, Sun Temple is one of the most highly revered places of worship. The grand architecture of the shrine speaks volumes about the craftsmanship of the bygone era. Built in the 10th century, this temple attracts thousands of devotees from places near and far. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Surya or the Sun God. Thus, this religious edifice is often referred to as 'Surya Temple'. Sun God's statue is enshrined in the temple along with the idols of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Durga.
