Sultanpur Palace is one of the major tourist attractions of the Kullu valley, situated nearby Raghunathji temple. The Palace is newly constructed in the vicinity of the old. The old palace was damaged in an earthquake. The architecture of Sultanpur Palace is a mix of Pahari and colonial styles. The palace is mainly famous for its beautiful miniature paintings which were created on simple themes, without human figures. Tourists need to take permission of the ruling family to see the palace.
