On the Enge/Wollishofen side of the lake, Strandbad Mythenquai is one of the city's official swimming areas along Lake Zurich. Unlike the unofficial swimming areas, Strandbad Mythenquai offers all the amenities of a swimming pool like shallow swimming sections for weak swimmers and diving boards for stronger ones. Strandbad Mythenquai features a 250 meter sandy beach. There are facilities for outdoor grilling and ample space for families with active children. The season starts in mid-May and then ends in mid-September.
