This collection of rocks and minerals is magnificent, but what brings in 20,000 visitors a year is its personal story. Everything was gathered by Petra Sveinsdottir, now in her mid-80s and living in a nursing home; the museum is in her house and garden. A gift shop sells rocks with googly eyes stuck on.
