A very good small restaurant in Cassis, located in the pedestrian streets of town, 100 meters (328 feet) from the port. The cuisine is Italian inspired: La Stazione serves very good pasta (Brousse cheese cannelloni, spaghetti with lobster) and great pizzas (the roquette/parme is a tasty must-try); the tomato sauce the chef makes is delicious! The restaurant also serves appetizers, meats, risotto and very nice desserts. We can t forget the great wines. In short, there are many good things on the menu, and for varying budgets. La Stazione is a bit noisy, more used to a younger crowd than families. It is difficult to get around with a stroller for example; the tables are quite close together. Part of the restaurant opens out on the street-side terrace.
