Reputed to be the smallest ancient Cathedral in Britain standing upon the historic warpaths of the Welsh princes with a rich and varied history. Magnificent architecture and stained glass windows. The Cathedral is a living working place of worship as well as a visitor attraction with regular services throughout the week. The choirs and organ music are superb and have featured on both radio and television. It is the venue for concerts and events throughout the year including the renowned North Wales International Music Festival each September. Visitors are invited to meander through the nave and chapels to view the many interesting features including: - 'The Naked Christ' - a thought provoking sculpture by Michelle Coxon - 'The Spanish Madonna' said to be from the Spanish Armada - The William Morgan bible - the first bible to be translated into Welsh and in the grounds the 'Translators Memorial' - a unique monument dedicated to the man who translated the bible into Welsh.
