The Temple, belonging to eleventh century, was last renovated in 1993 as per the plans of Raval Padmanabha Shastri, former priest of Sri Pashupathi Temple, Nepal. The whole sanctum sanctorum had been rebuilt in stones. The Goddess Durga is exhibited herself here in the form of five laterite Lingas (Panchadurga).
