Sri geeta bhawan sabha mandir

This ancient temple is situated in the heart of city Phagwara. In northern India it is the only place where 12 Narmedeshwar Shivlings representing 12 Jyortilings of Lord Shiv and a huge Pardeshwar Shivling has been established in Jalehri (special platform) made from 40 kilograms of silver. Its garden and verandas also distinguish it from other temples in the region. Within, one can find pictures of Shri Somnatrh, Shri Malika Arjun, Shri Mahakleshwar, Shri Onkareshwar, Shri Bhimashanker, Shri Vaidyanath, Shri Raimshwaram, Shri Nageshwar, Shri Triumbkeshwar, Shri Kashi Vishwanath, Shri Kedareshwar and Shri Ghushmeswar. It is managed by Gita Bhawan Sabha. In its premises are social projects like a free homeopathic dispensary, sewing school for girls, a regular yoga camp, and a community hall.
