Sree Parasurama Temple

The temple is at least 2000 years old and is an ode to Sree Parasurama, who is considered to be the mythological creator of Kerala. An abode of tranquility, this is a special place, devoted to praying for departed souls by means of taking a dip in the holy water of River Karamana, which runs adjacent. The ancestors' souls are prayed for and blessings are hoped to be received and bestowed upon them.
