Splendour In the Grass is an annual music, arts and culture event which from 2001-2009 took place each July/August at Belongil Fields campground on the outskirts of Byron Bay. As well as the latest and best in music from Australia and overseas, the festival also features local arts and crafts and cuisine. After 9 years Splendour In The Grass had grown and so had it's audience. The event's produ cers are part of a team which has been working toward establishing its very own permanent, sustainable event venue to accommodate the festival's growth and the growth of it's audience.
