The park covers 347 acres with 4,500 feet of saltwater shoreline on Admiralty Inlet. There are 2.2 miles of automobile roads and 3.5 miles of hiking trails within the park. The park has 54 standard campsites, six primitive campsites, two comfort stations, 26 picnic tables and 12 stoves in the day use area, an amphitheater, a group camp accommodating 144 people, a trailer dump station, and a small picnic shelter. It is on the Campsite Reservation Program. The area provides recreational opportunities for beachcombing, scuba diving, rock collecting, clamming, bird watching, crabbing, picnicking, camping, driftwood collecting, hiking, and saltwater fishing. South Whidbey State Park is located on the Smugglers Cove Road four miles southwest of Greenbank in Island County.
