Bring your family, bring your friends and celebrate what's great at the Australia Day Festival. The Parklands, South Bank, Brisbane, will be the place to be with music, interactive art installations, family entertainment and a spectacular fireworks display. Don't miss the traditional Flag Raising Ceremony on the Cultural Forecourt where the Australian Defence Force will raise the Australian, Queensland, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags. The day will also showcase some of South East Queensland's most talented street artists including Fintan Magee and Barek. Plus, you'll have the chance to cheer on your fellow Aussies racing in thongs in the Triple M's Pluggers Gift, participate in Thank you Australia, or bring your ukulele and strum along with the Brisbane Ukulele Musician's Society. Live performances throughout the day will include Cheap Fakes, Melissa Western, Brother Fox, Selahphonic, Babas Band, and Kooii.
