This is a miniature railway operating steam, petrol, diesel hydraulic and electric locomotives. The line is the longest 71/4” gauge railway in Ireland. A new extension allows a variety of routes, providing an interesting journey of approx 12 minutes. The railway captures the atmosphere of a full sized railway. There is a station, signal cabin, engine and coach sheds, community events, bridges, cuttings, tunnel and a level crossing. It's a great adventure. Ramped access to platform & toilets. One coach which will accommodate a wheelchair user and carer. The railway can be hired for private parties, celebration or fun events. A portable track is available for hire to provide train rides at the fairs and community events within the area.
