Martins Haven, Marloes, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, Wales
About
Pembrokeshire’s stunning islands and their surrounding waters provide unique, internationally significant wildlife habitats for thousands of fascinating species including puffins, razorbills, gannets, guillemots, manx shearwaters, grey seals, dolphins, whales, porpoises and many more... Our leisurely wildlife cruises around Skomer give you the opportuntity to get close to this amazing wildlife. Your boat will be surrounded by amazing marine wildlife and seabirds - puffins and razorbills bobbing on the water around the boat (April-July), seals in the water and hauled out on the rocky beaches, gannets overhead and maybe even a dolphin or porpoise. The hour-long cruise is perfect for those who don't wish to spend a day on Skomer, and well-behaved dogs are welcome on our 50 seat MCA licensed passenger boat 'The Dale Princess'. During the cruise you'll enjoy commentary from our skippers, wildlife experts and locals who know the waters around Skomer like the backs of their hands. We also offer a two hour, evening 'seabird spectacular' where you'll enjoy the beautiful Skomer sunset and travel out into St. Brides bay to see the manx shearwaters gathering on the water before returning to their island burrows under cover of darkness. There is no advanced booking for daytime Skomer cruises so please arrive early to secure your place, and prepare yourself for an unforgettable wildlife experience!
