Siva Temple is one of the popular pilgrimage sites situated in Jhar village of Ratlam District. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple is also known for its architectural beauty and has various beautiful sculptures. Dating back to the 11th century, the Shiva Temple was built during the rule of the Paramara dynasty. This temple has a beautiful tower on top of the shrine tapering towards the top and decorated with miniature spires on all four faces. The idol is represented by a huge Siva Linga which is accompanied by a Nandi bull.This Shiva Temple is also popular for its natural water springs. The temple is thronged by numerous devotees on festivals like Shivaratri which is celebrated with much devotion and enthusiasm.
