Sita Sar is an ancient water tank situated 20 km away from the city of Sangrur. This tank is said to be the place where Mata Sita, who was the wife of Lord Rama, washed her hair after being sent out of the house by her husband. At the south of this tank, there is also a Sheetla Mata Temple, which is another point of interest in the region.
