Silks was originally a small restaurant above the AIB bank in Malahide, Derek Sung and his wife Jeanette expanded to a new premises beside the Garda Station in 1998. They have since added a beautiful Mandarin style garden, complete with water features. It is now the largest Chinese restaurant in North County Dublin.Derek Sung is originally from Hong Kong. Having worked all over the world, he was eventually enticed to Dublin. Over 10 years now in business, he owes his success to hard work, attention to detail and top ingredients, which is rewarded on both sides by very dedicated customer base and loyal staff.Silks is open seven days per week.
