Silk & Spice at Sofitel Abu Dhabi

Silk & Spice is the Thai restaurant at the recently opened Sofitel hotel on the Corniche. Perhaps it is due to its newness, or perhaps it is due to it being still slightly awkward to get to, but the hotel and the restaurant itself are still on the quiet side. So it was a little surprising when, on our visit, we were sat at the table adjacent to the only other diners in the restaurant. Aside from that minor quibble, the rest of our evening was nothing but pure enjoyment. From the beautifully scented welcome towel and little cup of refreshing lemongrass iced tea, we knew we were on to a good thing.
