The Shri Ganesh temple is famous for the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi every year. A fair is organised during the time of Angarika Chaturthi at the temple. Rajur is also known to be a 'pith' of Lord Ganesh. The Rajur is considered as one of the complete PITH of Lord Ganesh in Ganesh Puran. Other Pith are at Morgaon, Chinchwad (Pune). The remaining Half Pith is Padmalaya.
