Shopping - Subiaco

Subiaco is located just five kilometres west of the city centre. It is easily accessible by train, bus or a short taxi ride. Shoppers are spoilt for choice with more than 70 fashion stores, as well as many jewellery, homewares, gourmet food and other speciality stores. "Subi", as it is affectionately known by locals, is renowned for its independent, unique stores and friendly service. The main shopping strips are on Rokeby Road and Hay Street, but there are many treasures to be found in the shops in the back and side streets adjacent to the main strips. There are more than 130 cafes and restaurants in Subi, making it a mecca for foodies with all tastes and budgets.
