Sushi and tempura in an alpine setting may seem out of context, but this authentic Japanese restaurant, on the second floor of a strip mall, consistently packs in both tourists and locals. Diners at the eight-seat sushi bar sup on sashimi, hand rolls, and a variety of sushi creations. Delicate tempura, sweet and tangy teriyaki dishes, and grilled yakitori skewers come a la carte or as combination dinners. Hearty eaters can order the Boat Dinner, which includes beef and chicken teriyaki, tempura, tonkatsu, sashimi or salmon, and dessert for about $24 per person (minimum two people). Sake, beer, and cocktails are also available.
