Shivalayam is a Temple of Lord Shiva that was constructed place of the house where Sathya Sai Baba was born. Built in 1979, the temple was constructed at the command of Sathya Sai Baba. Every Monday, Abhishekam (ceremonial bath) of the idols in the temple is performed. On 23rd November, 1926 in a very small house at the corner of the street in the village, Sathya Sai Baba was born.
