Headquartered in Tokyo Japan, the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store is the biggest department store in western Taipei. The store sells a range of high-end brands like Chanel, Dior, Gucci and Prada and houses an entire floor dedicated to food. While not a must-visit by any stretch of the imagination, if you happen to stop at the Taipei MRT station, hop up to the department store to sample some of Taipei's specialties, like stinky tofu, bubble tea or pineapple cakes.
