Parallel to Shida Road, one block to the east, the Shida Night Market is one of Taiwan's most famous night markets. Pointing is not impolite here - it is an easy way to communicate to the proprietor as to what looks appetizing. Do not be intimidated by the crowds of people, and be adventurous in your selections.
