Shenzhen Safari Park

Shenzhen Safari Park is the first open-ended zoo in China, located on the bank of the picturesque Xili Lake. Occupying an area of 1,200,000 m⊃2;, this magical park is renowned for its kiwi birds and beasts, its quiet and elegant environment as well as the quite exquisite landscape design. Shenzhen Safari Park is home to over 10,000 animals and birds, comprising over 300 species in total. Besides showcasing animals from all over China, the park also boasts animals from overseas, including many rare species, such as the panda, golden monkey, giraffe, red-crowned crane, and Indian elephant. The park is also the only safari park in the world to currently boast a tigon (a genetic cross between a tiger and a lioness) among its inhabitants.
