Situated in Muharraq, Shaikh Isa bin Ali House was built in 1800 for the great-grandfather of the H.H. the late Amir Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa. Built around four courtyards and incorporating a traditional windtower designed to channel cooling breezes into the living area, the house is a beautiful example of traditional local architecture in the pre-oil era.
