Thanks to Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Livingston, reggae; the Jamaican`s folk music and way of life has gained world-wide popularity. Apart from these three wailers, Jimmy Cliff, Desmond Parker, Maxi Priest and Shabba Ranks have also contributed to its fame. Lots of musical gems from the Carribean island still don´t make it to Europe, so the further developments of reggae, such as Dancehall and Raggamuffin, for example, are only known among experts. Ingo Schepper, owner of the Selekta Reggae Shop, is one of them. He purchases most of his stock in Jamaica and brings the records to Europe himself, while some other items are freshly imported. If you need a little introduction to Jamaican music or you would like to recall some pleasant memories from your last vacation on the island, Schepper is the man to turn to.
