Schauinsland

Take the Tram 2 then bus 21 to the Schauinsland [6] cable car. At the top you can enjoy great views as far as the Swiss Alps. It doesn't run in bad weather, though. It's also possible to hike up Schauinsland from the start of the Schauinslandbahn station. But make sure that the weather is forecasted to be good, and allow 3 to 5 hours for the uphill hike, and around 1 to 2 hours for hiking down.
