Located on the western most part of the Mizoram District is the Saza Wildlife Sanctuary, which is about 160 km from the region of Aizawl. This wildlife sanctuary covers a total land area of 15 sq km and houses wild animals like leopard, deer, rhesus and a few rare varieties of birds.
