Sant'Andrea delle Fratte
via di Capo le CaseAbout
Sant'Andrea delle Fratte church dates back to the 17th century and is devoted to St. Andrew. The plot had an overgrown vegetation which was removed and made way for the church, hence the name 'delle Fratte'. Watch out for the brilliant paintings in the apse and dome depicting the Crucifixion and other events from Christ's life. The artistically designed church and its dome rises quite high above other buildings in the neighborhood and can be easily seen even from a distance.
