About
When you're tired of fish (or if you never liked it in the first place), try Santa Lucia. A recent renovation to the interior brought in dark-wood paneling, heavy curtains, and a slightly eclectic mix of modern art and Indian handicrafts, resulting in a subdued and sophisticated atmosphere. Menu options range from filet Madagascar and shrimp risotto to poached stingray and steak. The tiramisu finishes off the meal nicely, though it's not made with either mascarpone cheese or raw eggs (for which you should probably be grateful). To get here, head up Safiya Zagloul Street from Saad Zagloul Square. After an 8-minute walk, you'll see it on the corner after the gas station. It's the place with frosted windows and the doorman outside. Elite (below) is across the street.
