Sangin Darwaza, one of the two entrance gates of the Hari Prabat Fort, is situated at a distance of 6 km from Srinagar. Overlooking the Dal Lake and situated on Hari Parbat, this fort can be reached from two sides of the city. One entrance is from Rainawari through Kathi Darwaza while the other entrance is from Hawal through Sangin Darwaza. Sangin Darwaza is a huge arched gate built with stone in typical Mughal architectural style.
