Sandstone Palace
About
Sandstone Palace, also known as the Gajner Palace, has been converted into a heritage hotel. The palace lies on the banks of the Gajner Lake and covers an area of 6,000 acres. It was built by the late Maharaja of Bikaner, Sir Ganga Singhji in the 20th century, using red sandstone. The palace was used by the Maharaja as a hunting resort and for entertainment purposes.
