Sandnes Golf Club was founded in the summer of 2004. Our home is Bærheim Golf Park in Sandnes Municipality. We became a club in Norwegian Golf Federation in spring 2005 and is now the district's biggest golf club with over 2,000 members.

Sandnes Golf Club is a sports club. As a sports team, we are a nonprofit organization based on volunteers. The operation of the club is based on volunteer efforts through various committees. The club has hired a secretary for 60% position to perform the daily operations.

In 2013, members of the club mark regionally and nationally with strong positions in tournaments.
