Downtown Ice has become a holiday tradition in downtown San Jose. The seasonal skating rink first opened in 1996, and now attracts more than 40,000 skaters per year. The family-friendly venue is set in the Circle of Palms, a gaggle of palm trees that glisten with holiday lights and create a festive backdrop for all to enjoy. Skate rentals are available for visitors who don't bring their own. Downtown Ice is open daily from mid-November until mid-January.
