San Francisco’s Zeum is no ordinary children's museum. Instead, the place (pronounced "zee-um") is a hands-on, multimedia arts and technology experience for kids. The museum offers highly interactive, multi-generational, and ADA-accessible exhibits that focus on five core arts and media subjects: Animation, Video Production, Sound Production, Performance, and Visual Arts. This means that every visit revolves around creative collaboration; on any given trip, children create anything from clay animation to music videos to digital art. The museum is located in the city's SoMa neighborhood.
