Samaspur Bird Sanctuary  situated in Raebareli District of Uttar Pradesh comprises of Samaspur lake and six other connected lakes and has an area of 800 Hect. These lakes and surrounding marshlands with rich concentration of water plants provide ideal habitat and nesting grounds for water birds.These lakes are home to many indigenous birds like open-billed stork, Indian cormorants, various species of herons and egrets etc.
