The guesthouse is owned and run by the Salvation Army and the atmosphere is cosy and genuinely Icelandic. The Guesthouse is situated in the middle of Reykjavik, with a short distance to the main streets with shops and nightlife and a ten minute walk to the bus terminal. The airport shuttel stops right outside the Guesthouse. They can accommodate about 90 guests at a time, in single rooms, double rooms, triple rooms and sleeping bag accommodation for the low budget traveller. Toilets and showers are on every floor. Breakfast is served between 07:00 and 09:30 each morning, and there is a kitchen available for the guests where they can make and store their own food.
