Check out one of the many public swimming pool facilities, and get started to enjoy the different pools available for swimming and various other facilities. Its a relatively new site with a main pool and a spectator stand seating 450 people, a teaching pool, a children's pool with slides and games. Just try to avoid weekends and peak hours in the summer, if at all possible, as crowding can be a problem. Call ahead, since hours of operation may vary from season to season, and many pools close for maintenance.
